Current Connections represents the number of applications currently connected, but not necessarily active. The number of currently connected applications cannot exceed the MAXAPPLS database configuration parameter. By default, hawk does not provide any warnings or alerts for this metric. However, if you ordinarily expect a certain number of connections, or if your MAXAPPLS configuration parameter contains an integer value limit, then you might consider customizing Hawk to add warning and alert thresholds if this MAXAPPLS value is approached or exceeded, respectively.
To see a list of all current connections, Right Click on the Connections label and choose ?Show Connections?. From this list of connections, you can terminate any connection provided your authorization ID has sufficient privileges.
