Show Host Klaas Brant Commentary

I have known Phil since, well since he started with DB2 with DB2 version 1.2. We both have to celebrate 25 years of DB2 in 2012 ( is that good or bad? ). How did I hear about Phil for the first time? He was the talk of the town the moment he joined Platinum Technology in the eighties, that's when. I can remember my BMC Sales Rep said to me: he is one of the best DBAs in the UK and now he is with Platinum! Suddenly Platinum was no longer a bunch of cowboys that would go away, but had to be taken seriously. I once wrote about Phil: "He knows what he talks about because his research is excellent; he simply cannot stand not understanding something." I guess that makes him a 0% non-sense presenter. Judge for yourself, todays DB2Night Show is 100% hints and tips and 0% bullS&*^t.
