Show Host Scott Hayes Commentary

Unfortunately Akshat was ill and could not present today, so this made life easier for our judges - they didn't have to choose two finalists to save! Also, thanks to Ember Crooks who made a special effort to join us as a guest judge. I was personally in awe of some of today's presentations! I can assure you that I will be watching this replay to try some of the things that I learned!! Our judges were all impressed!

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE FINALISTS

Voting ends 8 April 2015 at 2pm CDT!

We use SurveyMonkey to collect votes via the survey embedded below. Each computer can vote only once. After you vote, or if your computer has already voted, or if it is past 2pm CDT 8 April 2015, then you won't see the survey below. Every vote counts! Contests in prior years have been very close! Please cast your votes responsibly giving due consideration to quality of presentations, information delivered, and professionalism.

We appreciate the comments that some voters have offered! In fact, from the 13 March Round 2 voting, someone suggested that we list the Finalist names along with their topics - so, we will! Here's a review by presenter order:

  1. Rohit, Tuning Production Databases in DB2 LUW
  2. Roberto, Getting Connections to DB2 Databases in Restricted Secure Intranets (tunneling)
  3. Rajesh, Pursuit of Happiness - Achieving Performance Beyond SLAs
  4. Brandon, DB2PD - more than just problem determination
