Prior to joining DBI, he was a senior software architect at Imceda software (subsequently purchased by Quest Software) building high performance backup solutions, a Product Author at BMC Software building database change management solutions, a lead software engineer at Landmark Graphics building OpenWorks, the first open application software framework for the oil and gas industry, and a member of technical staff (MTS) at Bell Labs where he built some of the first facilities management systems that leveraged microcomputers and commercial databases.
