Quick FactsI have to confess that I'm glad DB2's GOT TALENT is over. It took a great deal of time and effort, but the valuable education and audience/voter feedback made it all worthwhile. In total, I sent and received over 458 emails related to the contest. Each show takes about 5 hours to set up, organize, produce, market, and make replays available - that's at least 40 hours across the February and March Episodes.
A word of thanksI'd also like to again thank all our contestants and finalists. You all took a big risk to get involved with something new. You invested your time in creating and presenting valuable materials, tips, and lessons learned. I greatly appreciate that you shared your time, talent, and expertise with the DB2 community. DB2 Users sharing with DB2 Users is exactly the spirit and essence of IDUG. In my book, you are all awesome professionals.
