Show Host Scott Hayes Commentary
I imagine most everyone in the DB2 Community knows Roger Sanders. He is a gentleman, kind, wise, and very helpful. I am honored to know him, and thrilled that we could have him as a guest on our show. I personally found it fascinating to learn how the DB2 Certification tests are developed.
In our studio audience attendee survey, we asked the question "In your opinion, do DB2 Certifications prove you know your DB2 Stuff?" Of those that completed the survey, 66% said "Yes" and 34% said "No". I suppose this means that DB2 Certification gets a passing grade.
Roger has a new book out: From Idea to Print: How to Write a Technical Article or Book and Get It Published --- take a look!

We don't ordinarily do this, but Roger was a bit rushed near the end of his speaking time. SO, since his presentation was SO AWESOME, and since he gave us permission to provide his slides, we are providing EXCERPTS of Roger's presentation in PDF format. Now, mind you, we want you to watch the replays, so the PDF excerpt only includes the DB2 Certification Road Maps and some of Roger's Tips for Taking the Tests. For the "Insider Secrets", yes, you have to watch the replay. That said, CLICK HERE for the PDF
