Show Host Scott Hayes Commentary

First, thank you to all of DB2's GOT TALENT contestants and finalists. This fun way to learn about DB2 would not be possible without your contributions. We've received a great deal of very positive feedback! 823 votes were cast in our 15 March show. In order of votes obtained (highest to lowest), here's a run down of today's presentations:

  • Mohankumar, DB2 9.7 Performance Tuning Siebel 8.1 Application
  • Ember, DB2 Success: You Won't Find it on a Database Server
  • Chris, How I ETL'd data without an ETL tool on a deadline
  • Eric, Save Time and CPU by using an MQT stage table
  • Sreeharsha, Virtual Database Administration
Please WATCH our replay to obtain excellent DB2 education from today's finalists!

Survey and Voting

Due to GoToWebinar® limitations for repeating webinars, we need to offer our post-show audience survey via Survey Monkey. We welcome both our live studio audience and replay viewers to complete this survey to vote and for a chance to win our $25 gift certificate drawing. For convenience, the survey is embedded below, at the bottom of this replay blog. After you complete the survey, it will close automatically. Only one entry per computer is allowed. Also, to minimize the "I'll just vote for my friend effect", we are now requiring that you must vote for TWO or more finalists. You can still vote for your friend, but be sure to cast a vote for at least one other good presentation! NEW for GRAND FINALE: In addition to asking you to vote for two finalists, there is a new question that asks you to rank our finalists (1 = 1st place choice, 2 = 2nd place choice, 3 = 3rd place choice, and 4 = 4th place choice).

DB2's GOT TALENT Winners Announced!

Polls will close 4 April 2013 at 11pm CDT. DB2's GOT TALENT Winners will be announced during our 5th April show themed "All About IDUG". REGISTER for our All About IDUG show if you haven't already!
